Halloween Rosette Wreath

Paper rosettes are popping up EVERYWHERE this fall!  I just had to try making something using them, so this is what I came up with last night (yep, I made this cute wreath in just one evening!).  To make paper rosettes, you definitely need a scoring board, and what do you know?  Stampin' Up! has just introduced one, the Simply Scored, in the new Holiday Mini!

For this wreath, I used the Pick Your Poison DSP & Silver Glimmer Paper from the Holiday Mini, along with Pumpkin Pie smooth and Basic Black textured cardstock and a little Basic Black satin ribbon.  The stamped images are from Dark & Dreary in the 2011-12 Idea Book & Catalog.

If you'd like to learn more about making paper rosettes and just how fun & easy they are, hop on over to my DBWS & sign up for my November class under the "Events" tab.  You'll be amazed at what you can do!

  1. What a great wreath! Love this! :) I haven't tried making one of these, yet, but I did just order the new score board, so maybe I will get time to try it.

  2. yes love your wreath what sizes did you use for this please just got the scor board and ready to try this please

    1. Hi Janet! Thank you :) Let's see - I actually DON'T have the wreath any more as I had raffled it off at a craft show, but I think they were 1 inch and 1 1/2 inch strips which end up making 2" and 3" rosettes. Hope that helps! There are tons of videos out on the web about making paper rosettes - that's how I learned to make them!
