Party This Way, Kidoodles!!

Whew!!  This has been one busy week.  As you may know, nurses have crazy schedules.  Mine this week was night shift Saturday, Sunday, Monday & Tuesday - one day off - back to work 3-11 on Thursday (originally I was supposed to work 7-3, but I begged for mercy since there were 8 people scheduled, so they took pity on me & changed it - at least I got to sleep in a little!!).  Add some homework to that, and my older doggie, Lucy, having some - er - plumbing issues, let's say??  (I may need to rename her "Puddles" - 'nuff said??)  ANYWAY - haven't had time to stamp until this morning.

I've been playing around with this design since last weekend, trying to come up with a fun kid birthday card for my Stamp a Stack on Sunday.  It's kind of a hodge podge of colors, using up what I have available (can you believe I'm being so good & didn't order any new cardstock this week??).  I think the DSP is from my Starter Kit from last March, actually!  The Kidoodles stamp set is so cute and I really wanted to use this little octopus guy - he's stamped in Black Stazon on our Watercolor Paper & colored with Stampin' Write markers.  Then I thought, wouldn't it be fun to add Spinner Game hands so the child could play with the card & try to hit their age??  THEN I happened to notice that the FREE Sale a Bration set I just got, Party This Way, has a balloon stamp that matches this DSP scrap - so I just had to try to work that in.  It's possibly a little bit "much" for one card, but kids like bright busy colors, so I think a child getting this card would like it, don't you?

Happy stampin'!
