All Dressed Up! Now, for somewhere to go ;)

Hi Stampers!

Have you been looking at the All Dressed Up suite of products on page 32 of the Spring Catalog, but like me, thought you just couldn't justify spending the money on the set?  Yep, even though I'm a die-hard (ha ha, get it - "die" hard??) Stampin' Up! demonstrator who absolutely LOVES our Framelits dies and Sizzix dies, I too sometimes look at products and say to myself, "Wellllllll, yeah, that's really cute - but wow - I just can't see spending that much money right now on something that can do just one thing."  Ahhhhh, but read on, Grasshopper . . . I'm about to rock your socks off ;)

Confession time:  I finally caved & bought the Card Base Pop 'n Cuts (130099, $39.95), the Dress Form Pop 'n Cuts (130100, $21.95), and the Dress Up Framelits Dies (130101, $24.95) on my last order.  I've seen SOOOOOOO many adorable projects on other demo blogs as well as on Pinterest, and just had to "bite".  Now that I've had some time to play, the All Dressed Up stamp set (wood mount, 129171, $21.95 or clear mount, 129174, $16.95) will definitely be going on my next order.

Anyhow, last night I couldn't sleep (surprise, surprise - I know, right?!) so I got up & hit my new toys to make this card as a thank you for one of my customers:

Cute, huh??  BUT - I had a little trouble making it "work".  The double layers of cardstock gave me some grief, and I had to kinda do some cutting & pasting (literally) and add the top scallops on the front of the card to hide my goofs.  Soooooo, I went on a web search to see if I could find a good tutorial, and of course, SU! demos being the kind-hearted sharing souls we are, I found an EXCELLENT video by Karen Burniston, the creator of Sizzix Pop 'n Cuts!  She's graciously given permission to SU! demos to share her tutorial video on our blogs.  Watch it all the way through to the end - I PROMISE you will be hooked and HAVE TO HAVE this die set when you see how versatile it really is.  Then, give me a call or head over to my website to order yours ASAP!!!!

OK, so here ya go - check out her video (thank you, Karen, for generously sharing!!):

Well, what did I tell you??  Is this not the CUTEST die set EVAH????????  If you're signed up for Calendar Club, we'll be using this set at our next club meeting.  Can you even stand it??
That's it for now!  Happy stampin'!!
