Delight-ful Weather We're Having!

No particular thoughts on the mind as I type this post.  I'm sitting here watching "Mrs. Doubtfire" after a pretty awesome day.

Was supposed to work til 7:30 p.m. but found when I got to the office that there'd been a little miscommunication regarding me covering another co-worker and <insert happy dance here> I WASN'T NEEDED til that late!!  Texted my manager and asked if I could take a half day PTO & voila!  She was agreeable - WOOT!!!  Off I went at 3 p.m. & did a little bumming around - craft store, Five Below, grocery store . . . then headed home, took a walk, and settled in to a great Robin Williams movie that never fails to make me laugh :-)

As a "woman of a certain age", this "hot flash" scene always makes me howl:

Since the weather was so delight-fully beautiful while I was out & about on my walk, I have a card for you today using a color I hardly ever use, Daffodil Delight.  Not sure WHY I don't use it much, guess bright yellow just isn't usually my thing.  This is a great spring-y card though - hope you like it:

Not sure why the edges cut off here, but it IS a standard-sized card, trust me!  I used some of the Summer Smooches DSP to punch out the flowers & highlighted the Daffodil Delight with Chocolate Chip.  Gives it a little of a sunflower look, no??  Love the Four Frames & Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp sets - they're practically indispensable!  That paper "ribbon" is another punch - I think it might be retired, but too lazy to get up & look for my SU! catalog right now :-)
Well, back to my movie!  Just got to the part where Mrs. Doubtfire has torn the hood ornament from Stu's car . . .
Happy stampin'!
