A Little Happiness

Hi Stampers!

Quick post before heading off to the salt mines :)

Actually, my job is pretty awesome.  I'm a nurse case manager for a wellness program, so instead of focusing on the "bad", I get to focus on folks who want to improve their health.  Sweet gig with a lot of great co-workers.  Happy's the word when I'm driving to work Monday through Thursday - I know, right?  Weirdness :)

Anyway, with that in mind, here's a simple black and white card we did at my last Calendar Club:

This week, I'd like to focus on embossing folders and background stamps - two things I tend to forget I own, but they can really make a card "pop".  Those polka dots just BEG to be touched.  The layered Labels Framelits are one of my favorite sets.  So easy to stack shapes for an impressive card front!  I used the Modern Label punch for the Happiness stamp & cut one in half to set it off behind in black.  Apothecary Art backs that up, and a little bling with Basic Rhinestones, and there ya go!
Speaking of happiness, after yesterday's rollicking saga, today's resolution is to just "be".  Be happy, be calm, be confident -  and most of all - MYOB - wish me luck :)  Maybe by the time I'm a hundred, I'll have figured this stuff out . . . . lol!!!
Happy stampin'!
