Butler Crop: Creating Til I Dropped blog series

Hi Stampers!

I've about lost track of the day count at this point :)  Anyway, the remaining cards will be fall or general cards.  I just lost my Christmas mojo after a while!

As this posts, I'm currently in the midst of day two with the other crop group I hang out with fall and spring, at the Bishop Connare Center in Greensburg.  I've set up posts while I'm gone for your crafting enjoyment, but as you read this, I'm most likely in a sugar and caffeine haze and either designing more cards for my Calendar Club girls or possibly scrapbooking.  At the time I was writing this, I didn't have a set plan in mind.

Today's card is a pretty fall themed CASE from one I found on Split Coast Stampers.  I really need to start keeping track of these so I can give proper credit.  Gently Falling, once again, but the 2 Step Stampin' technique gives way to just using the outline stamp and coordinating ink and cardstock for a more monochromatic look:

Colors used here are Always Artichoke, Cajun Craze, and Daffodil Delight.  The sentiment is from From My Heart.  I sponged the colored areas with ink to give a little bit of a shabby look to the leaves.

Fall is my favorite season - I know you already know that - and this card is just perfect.  Falling leaves, passing time . . . the crisp air and spicy treats of autumn.   MMMMMM.  I think I hear some pumpkin muffins calling me.  Time to check the treat table :)

Happy stampin'!
