Butler Crop: Creating Til I Dropped blog series

Hi Stampers!

Day 6 of my Butler Crop blog series!  Hopefully you're not tired of seeing all my cards yet :)

Today I wanted to show you what I think was kind of a flop, as cards go.  I never realized embossing powder can apparently "go bad"!  I was going for a white on white card, but it ended up being vanilla on vanilla when I heat embossed with my white EP and got an "off" color:

I punched out the snowflake with my retired snowflake punch, dipped it in Versamark & then the embossing powder . . . and to my surprise, it came out Very Vanilla instead of Whisper White!!  Stamp sets used were Tape It and the retired Many Merry Messages.

I mean, I still kinda like it, but . . . . ??  Clean and simple for sure, but I guess I'm gonna have to break down & buy some new white EP :)

Oh well.  Somehow I'll revamp this a bit and it will be a Calendar Club card.  Back to the drawing, er - embossing - board!

Happy stampin'!
