Butler Crop Weekend: Creating Til I Dropped! blog series

Hi Stampers!

I got home Sunday from my first crop weekend of the year (I consider fall to be the beginning of my craft year!) and wow, did I have a blast - as usual.

This first crop of the year is in Butler, hostessed by my friend Patti.  I LOVE this weekend, because not only do I have a crazy, fun time with the ladies who go, but I get a whole bedroom to myself WITH a bathroom AND the cafeteria has a Douwe Egberts coffee machine <sigh>.  If you've had it, you know what I'm talkin' about.  If you've never had the pleasure, FIND A PLACE THAT SELLS IT and GET YOURSELF A CUP!!!!  I'm telling you, this coffee is BETTER THAN S**!!!!!

Go read about it here.  I'll wait.

Anyway.  Back to the creating.

I made a grand total of 19 (20?) cards last weekend.  I started out doing Christmas cards, designing for my upcoming Calendar Club meetings in October and November.  Some are pretty, others are kinda flops (well, for a class setting, anyhow).  Then I got bored and did a couple fall cards, and "general" cards.

This blog series will share my creations from the crop weekend.  I hope you enjoy them!

Here's the first:

Love that Stippled Blossoms stamp set!  Couple embossing folders, Coredinations cardstock, our Stretch Ruffle Trim, some die cutting, punching, a little glimmer, fussy cutting, layering - and I think I made a card that would be a royal pain to do in a class :)  However, I may reconsider that.  (My ladies do love the Big Shot!)

Tune in for the next several days to see more of my Butler crop creations - happy stampin'!
