Greensburg Crop: More Creating!! blog series

Hi Stampers!

More from the Greensburg Crop.  I worked a lot on Christmas cards again - these crops are a great opportunity for me to do that since I have lots of time and don't have to stop to go to work or do housework (yes, I do that occasionally, ha ha!).

I get tons of inspiration from the gallery at Split Coast Stampers.  My SIL Susan recommended the site to me way back when I first got involved with papercrafting and I'm really glad she did!  If you're looking for ideas, layouts, color schemes - whatever - I suggest you add their site to your "favorites".

Here's today's card:

How cute is this??  I saw lots of "Mrs. Santa" dresses on SCS using the Dress Up Framelits.  Just HAD to try one for myself.  I also used the retired ornament punch from Stampin' Up! along with our Silver Glimmer Paper.  What I did was cut two dresses - one from Real Red and one from Whisper White.  Then I trimmed the white freehand to make the trim on the dress, and freehand cut the belt from Basic Black and the buckle from a scrap of the silver.  Loving the Oval Framelits set for backgrounds!

What do you think?  Is this a fun card?

Happy stampin'!
