"Joyeux Noel" of a Sort :)

Hi Stampers!

I took 4 years of high school French and 1 year in college.  Don't ask me to say anything in French, though.  I think the only things I remember are some bad words and questionable phrases ;)

Actually, I DO remember how to say Merry Christmas:  "Joyeux Noel!"  We won't discuss my accent.

Anyway, the background stamp, En Francais, is great when you just want to add a little "something" to a card.  Here, I've used it with Christmas Collectibles:

A card with this layout was featured in last month's Stampin' Success! magazine.  I turned it into a Christmas card by using a different color scheme.  I really love the half punch at the top and bottom edges to kind of hold the twine, echoed by the rounded corners of the card.  What do you think?  It was quick and easy, but elegant-looking.  This'll be one of this month's Calendar Club cards.

Well, I promised myself some creativity today, so better get off here & hunt up some mojo.

Happy stampin'!
